For our client, a global professional services organization, we are looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join and support the international Internal Audit function.
This is a highly visible role combining responsibility for audit execution, stakeholder collaboration and active contribution to the development of the audit function within a global, partnership-based structure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead internal audit engagements end-to-end (planning, execution, reporting)
Support the development and delivery of the annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan
Identify risks and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and processes
Prepare structured audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management
Monitor and track remediation of audit findings across the business
Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk and Assurance functions
Participate in global audit assignments and ad-hoc reviews of strategic initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
Act as a representative of the Internal Audit function within the region and support collaboration with global leadership
Candidate Profile
Several years of experience in internal or external audit (Big4 / Advisory)
Experience working in an international, matrix organization
Strong understanding of audit processes (scoping, testing, reporting, follow-up)
Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and presenting insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to challenge business decisions in a constructive and professional manner
High level of independence, ownership and accountability
Fluent English (daily interaction with international teams)
Professional certifications (ACCA, ACA, CIA)
Experience in partnership-based or professional services environments
